As soon as you enter the hotel, you can leave your everyday life in front of the door and let yourself be enchanted by first impressions. We were inspired by our history and the breathtaking nature that surrounds us when we designed our reception and lobby. Lots of wood and warm colours combined with newly interpreted antiques from the family estate create a magical atmosphere and invite you to relax.

So your holiday can begin. At check-in we will explain our offer to you. Here you can find out, for example, when the rich breakfast buffet is ready, how to get to the underground car park, which advantages you enjoy as a half-board guest or where you can find our wellness area. We will also be happy to support you in planning your activities, because Leukerbad has a lot to offer and above all a lot to enjoy. The Valais from one of its most beautiful sides: unagitated, but full of possibilities that create wonderful memories.
High up
For example, high up on the historic Gemmi Pass. The Gemmi was first mentioned as a natural trail in the early 13th century and later developed into one of the best-known Alpine crossings between the Valais and the Bernese Oberland for freight and passenger transport. Today you can decide if you want to take the impressive but exhausting way up on foot or if you want to be transported in only a few minutes with the Gemmi cable car to 2.350m to dive into a high alpine paradise.
Dive in & dive out
Leukerbad has also written history with the “immersion”. Since Roman times, the hot thermal springs have been used without interruption, making Leukerbad an attractive year-round health resort. The long flow path and the time (approx. 40 years) that the water takes to return to the surface as a thermal spring has made it rich. Rich in valuable minerals, naturally heated to 51 degrees, it flows into the baths of Leukerbad. The calcium sulphate water with a slightly increased content of sodium, strontium, iron and a remarkable fluoride content has not only a medical effect on the active and passive locomotor system but also a preventive and relaxing effect on body and soul.
Swimming & mountains, all inclusive
For the duration of your stay you can enjoy free admission to the Leukerbad Therme and travel free with the Gemmi cable cars and the local bus. In addition, our guests use the sports arena and the children’s ski paradise ERLI free of charge, green fees for the Leuk Golf Club are also included in the price.
